About Us

Maple Hills Harvest is a small farm owned and operated by us! (Shirelle and Adam Benard)

 

The farm started with wanting affordable fresh produce that we could trust to never have had pesticides or herbicides. So we converted our entire 1/4 acre yard (yes, front and back yard) just outside of downtown Salt Lake City, Utah into a massive garden. We planted every square inch we could with vegetables, fruits, herbs, flowers, and even got some bees. We did sacrifice some space and left room for the tree swing the kids love.

We wanted to be able to share our fresh, safe, local produce with the community, so we sell our extra produce at a seasonal weekly Farmers Market at the Wedding Venue we own in Layton, Utah. (Oak Hills Reception and Event Center)

We are passionate about no till, regenerative, farming that can help heal the microbiome in our soil and the Earth.
